Without arrival and departure times, a Purvector is installed in approx. 15-45 minutes per piece. This depends entirely on the accessibility of the installation location and the number of Purvectors to be installed. Our principles are mathematically based on the average installation time of 30 minutes per piece. Special local conditions are not calculated with this assumption. All Purvectors have the same performance in terms of the neutralization performance of pollutants, foreign odors, bacteria and viruses specified by PURVECT AIR. The efficiency of neutralization in the room itself depends on the correctly adjusted ventilation capacity. This means that a poorly designed and executed ventilation system, which cannot achieve its intended ventilation of the individual rooms, also affects the performance of the Purvectors. Purvectors will improve air quality, even in rooms that are not well ventilated. In this case, additional Vento-Purvectors can be installed, which supplement the existing ventilation independently of it and provide support for the necessary purvection, but the necessary amount of fresh air must be provided through burst ventilation.
All Purvectors are designed for 24/7 operation and, under normal ventilation system control conditions, generally require no maintenance or service.
Purvectors can significantly and decisively improve air quality by optimising the balance of natural resources in indoor air. However, this requires that natural resources are available at all times. The physical process of purvectorization given by nature does not change the air composition in any way, as shown in the graphic below, but effectively neutralizes the pollutants, foreign odors and pathogens present in the room air.
Purvectors do not replace coarse and fine dust filters, but must be installed in addition to them.

For all of our neutralization performance figures through Purvection, the measurement results relate to the practice-oriented measurement point set by the Fraunhofer Institute, in the room itself, directly, virtually on the user's wet. These practice-oriented measurements, carried out by the Fraunhofer Institute, are not comparable with the measurement point defined by various standards (referred to here as a theoretical measurement point).
Since this test arrangement does not comply with applicable standards, but is based on practice where neutralization from pollutants, germs and foreign odors also takes place, we have carried out comparable test measurements in which, according to the current state of the art, we can compare different systems with each other.
At this point, we would like to emphasize once again that Purvection does not replace existing filter technologies, even though, on the graphic below, the system performance of a Purvection is 5,000 times better than the tested HEPA filter. The PURVECTORS must be installed as a supplement. Since it must be considered that a HEPA filter is an absorption filter and thus absorbs suspended particles, the Purvection neutralizes this other part.
The measurement results in this investigation are based on SARS-CoV-2 surrogate virus Phi 6. If there is another particulate matter concentrate, the measurement result will certainly be in favor of the HEPA filter. This is why fine dust filters and Purvection complement each other and are not mutually exclusive.
An absorption filter system, as well as ozonation with a downstream catalyst or a flow irradiated with UV-C lamps, in a closed section of a ventilation system, cleanse the flowing air cleanly and effectively (measurement point A).
However, it mixes immediately after it flows into the occupied room, which is mixed with pollutants, zero and foreign odors. Depending on the size of the room, the number of infected people, the cause of the odour and the amount of pollutants present, the originally purified air is mixed in such a way that the effectiveness is zero. In the test setup at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, performance was reduced as shown above.
With the downstream and supplementary Purvectors, which, depending on Project size, installed centrally, decentrally or directly in front of the ventilation outlets (optimal swirl outlet), the air improvement is fully active even when mixed with polluted room air and thus protects the room directly from pollutants, pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, as well as foreign odors.

Purvectors are generally designed to be service and maintenance-free. Purvectors, however, are installed at various locations and under various conditions, which are subject to maintenance costs. This maintenance work must be carried out and then also affects the Purvectors, even if they generally do not need to be serviced.
These high-level maintenance tasks can occur in the following cases:

In summary:
Purvectors of type 1, 2 and 3 require no service or maintenance. Occasional cleaning as part of ventilation line cleaning, particularly in terms of fire protection, is recommended.
